MyCarNeedsA survey results on driving habits in the UK and how drivers are still using their mobile phones behind the wheel despite the law change. Legislation regarding using a mobile phone whilst in the car has been hit with harsher penalties, six points and a fine of £220. It is illegal in the UK to use a mobile phone unless the car has a bluetooth device/headset, voice command or a dashboard holder, these laws are still in place even when stuck in traffic. Our results show that many drivers in the UK are still using their phone behind the wheel.
